Denise Richards was granted a permanent restraining order against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, on Friday. The order will remain in effect until November 7, 2030, according to Fox News.

“It’s pretty classic domestic violence from my perspective. I think that it’s really pretty clear that you can’t take private things — and throw them out into the world like that without potential consequences. There can’t possibly be a defense that her peace can’t be disturbed because she had an OF page and did Playboy. That’s not a defense.”
Richards had initially obtained a temporary restraining order in July, shortly after Phypers filed for divorce. Phypers, 53, faced spousal abuse charges related to incidents in 2017 and 2022. He was arrested last month, resisted while in custody, and posted a $200,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled for December.
During court testimony last month, Richards accused Phypers of attempting to ruin her reputation by leaking nude photos. She also expressed the emotional impact on her children.
“It’s been difficult for my daughters, especially with the naked photos,” Richards stated in court.
