North Lincolnshire Unites to Honour Armed Forces This Remembrance Sunday

North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the dedication and sacrifice of its armed forces on Remembrance Sunday with a commemorative parade and service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.

The parade will gather outside The Baths Hall from 10:10 a.m. and begin its procession at 10:25 a.m. Attendees are welcome to join for tea and coffee inside from 9:30 a.m. or assemble outside from 10:00 a.m.

The procession, featuring serving personnel, veterans, military organisations, and local uniformed groups, will move along Doncaster Road to the Cenotaph near the North Lincolnshire Museum.

The remembrance service will start at 10:45 a.m. with an Act of Remembrance and a two-minute silence observed at 11:00 a.m., followed by wreath-laying. Afterward, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens.

Following the formal ceremony, attendees are invited back to The Baths Hall for refreshments and quiet reflection.
