Lorraine Kelly to Celebrate Another Year of Fundraising for the STV Children’s Appeal

On Friday, STV will broadcast a special live programme from its Pacific Quay headquarters in Glasgow, focusing on the ongoing work of the STV Children’s Appeal throughout 2025.

Highlighting Supported Projects

The show will put the spotlight on three projects that have received support from the Appeal this year.

Lorraine Kelly’s Role

Lorraine Kelly, a trustee of the STV Children’s Appeal since its beginning, will host the programme. She will meet a variety of people who have either contributed to the Appeal or benefited from its work in the past year.

Kelly said: “Celebrating all the fundraisers and projects involved in the STV Children’s Appeal is always one of the highlights of my year – and this year will be extra special, as I’m heading to Scotland to present the Appeal Show live from STV HQ. I’m looking forward to meeting more incredible people from across the country, hearing their inspiring stories and learning what the work of the STV Children’s Appeal means to them."

Special Tartan Design

Before the show, Lorraine was photographed wearing a kilt and scarf made from a unique tartan designed by Houston Kiltmakers, a Paisley-based family business. The official STV Children’s Appeal tartan incorporates the charity’s pink, yellow, and blue colours and was created to help raise funds for the Appeal.

About Houston Kiltmakers

The programme promises to showcase inspiring stories and celebrate the impact of fundraising efforts benefiting children supported by the Appeal.
