Toronto’s longest-running, free film festival offers more than movies

Toronto’s Longest-Running Free Film Festival Returns

The 23rd annual Regent Park Film Festival will take place from November 27 to 30 in Toronto, offering four days of free movies, workshops, artist talks, and community events. Known as the city’s longest-running free film festival, it highlights much more than just films.

Community Focus and Mission

“Regent Park Film Festival (RPFF) is an award-winning, community based, charitable organization,” the festival team explains. “RPFF amplifies and centres marginalized communities and their stories. We believe everyone should be able to make and experience film and art, regardless of their financial status.”

Festival Program Highlights

This year’s lineup features 43 films that explore the everyday acts of care sustaining communities through both loss and joy.

Opportunity to Experience Film and Art for All

After the summer’s “movie nights Under the Stars,” the festival provides another chance to enjoy inspiring stories and community connections through film.
