Remembrance Day Observances Outlined

An annual campaign supporting war veterans, widows, and soldiers began this week with the presentation of a symbolic poppy to Governor Andrew Murdoch. The poppy was given by Royal Bermuda Regiment’s Honorary Colonel David Gibbons, marking the start of Bermuda’s Poppy Appeal.

This appeal raises funds to aid former and current soldiers in need. Poppies are available at locations throughout the City of Hamilton today and tomorrow.
