No Limit rapper Young Bleed, known for the hit song “How You Do That,” has passed away at the age of 51.

Confirmation and Cause of Death

On Wednesday, his eldest son, Ty’Gee Ramon Clifton, confirmed Young Bleed's death in an Instagram statement:

“As of November first, my dad gained his wings. Everything that’s me is him.”

The rapper died following a brain aneurysm. Although he had no serious health issues, he did have high blood pressure and was on medication for it.

Early Life and Career

Born Glenn Reed Clifton Jr. on June 6, 1974, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Young Bleed began rapping at nine years old. In 1995, he formed the group Concentration Camp with four Baton Rouge rappers: C-Loc, Max Minelli, J-Von, and Chris Hamilton, J-Von's younger brother.

Rise to Fame

Young Bleed gained national recognition when his song with C-Loc, “How You Do That,” was released in 1997 and later remixed by Master P of No Limit Records. The remix helped his 1998 album reach number one on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop album charts.

Throughout his career, Young Bleed released nine studio albums, maintaining a significant presence in the hip-hop community.
