Natalie Cassidy, 43, has revisited her experience of being bullied during her school years, reaffirming claims she made earlier about Paloma Faith being one of her bullies. The EastEnders actress shared this on Katherine Ryan’s podcast, "What’s My Age Again," highlighting the challenges she faced attending school alongside jealous peers.
Natalie suggested her early fame, joining EastEnders at age 10, might have contributed to the bullying she endured. She explained that her favourite place was the soap opera set because school was difficult due to the jealousy of other students.
"There wasn’t anywhere else I wanted to be. Maybe because when I wasn’t there, school was difficult, people were jealous," she said. "You know, there was bullying that went on. So I always just wanted to be there because it was so fun and I was surrounded by nice people."
Both celebrities attended the same secondary school in London—Islington Green School, now known as the City of London Academy Islington. Natalie grew up in Islington, while Paloma Faith was raised in Stoke Newington.
"Paloma Faith, she bullied me at school."
Natalie Cassidy repeated that school was tough due to envy from her peers, reinforcing her earlier claim that Paloma Faith bullied her during their shared school years in London.
