The Celebrity Traitors has concluded with Alan Carr emerging as the champion, despite his nervous energy and constant humor. Yet fans were left wondering whether Alan and singer Paloma Faith, his real-life friend whom he 'eliminated' early in the series, had managed to reconcile.
During the final episode of the companion show Uncloaked, host Ed Gamble confronted Alan about their friendship. With cameras rolling, he asked whether it was time to apologize to Paloma, who was sitting in the audience.
“Now with the nation watching, do you think it's time for an apology? I mean, Paloma’s sat right there.”
Alan, visibly embarrassed, responded with his usual wit.
“I am so sorry. You know I am, and I want to tell everyone that I’m the father of a child. We had a make-up hug, one thing led to another.”
Paloma, who is currently expecting her fourth child, expressed both warmth and emotion as she shared her side of the story.
“Observing tonight and going through my whole range of hormonal emotions, I feel that the reason Alan won—and why I felt so sad—is because we all love him so much. I love you and I’m thrilled you won because it was worth it. But I think most people didn’t vote for you because they thought, how can we vote against someone that lovable? So yes, you won, you hurt me, and I loved you, but…”
Alan quickly turned to humor once again, referencing one of Paloma's best-known songs.
“Only love can hurt like that.”
Alan Carr jokingly apologized to Paloma Faith after their televised feud, with Paloma revealing her affection and forgiveness, turning the emotional reunion into a warm, humorous exchange.
