During the broadcast of a Rivalry Series game between the Canadian and American women’s national teams on Thursday, the Milano Cortina 2026 jersey design was unveiled, adding excitement to the upcoming Olympic hockey events.
With just three months until the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, anticipation is building for the hockey tournaments. The men’s tournament will see the return of NHL players on Olympic ice for the first time since Sochi 2014.
Six members of Team Canada’s men’s roster have already been announced:
Except for Crosby, who played in Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014, the rest will make their Olympic debut. The full roster will be revealed in early January.
On the women’s side, Team Canada has been a dominant force in Olympic hockey, never missing a podium since women’s hockey was introduced at Nagano 1998. They enter the 2026 tournament as the reigning Olympic champions.
“At Beijing 2022, Team Canada’s captain Marie-Philip Poulin became the first player—male or female—to score in four Olympic gold medal games.”
The women’s roster for the 2026 Olympics will also be announced in January.
The unveiling of Team Canada’s Milano Cortina 2026 hockey jersey highlights a highly anticipated Olympic tournament featuring NHL players' return and the women's team defending their gold.
