Bo Nix threw a touchdown pass as the Denver Broncos defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 10-7 on Thursday, stretching their NFL win streak to seven games. This victory improved Denver's record to 8-2, the best in the NFL, and strengthened their lead atop the AFC West division over the Los Angeles Chargers (6-3).
The game was dominated by defense, with the Broncos recording six sacks and an interception. Denver remained unbeaten at home this season, improving to 5-0, and extending their winning streak at Mile High Stadium to ten games. Only Indianapolis shares the feat of having no home defeats this year.
"We have a really good defense and they showed up again tonight," said Bo Nix. "We didn't give them the best of fields at times but they still made plays and kept them out of field goal range. They keep winning games for us and getting us the ball back and at some point we have to return the favor."
Las Vegas took an early lead with Ashton Jeanty's four-yard touchdown run at 11:58 of the first quarter, but Denver's defense took control afterwards, limiting the Raiders' scoring opportunities.
The Broncos have a bye week and will return to action on November 16, hosting the Kansas City Chiefs (5-4), their division rivals.
"We've got a lot of work to do," Nix added. "But we're winning and that's all that matters."
The Denver Broncos leveraged a strong defense and Bo Nix's leadership to extend their winning streak, positioning themselves as the AFC West front-runner with a solid home record.
