I want to begin by expressing my regret over Senator Dolega's remarks and the offensive imputations directed at coalition senators and members. According to Labor, it now seems to be an offence to drape yourself in the Australian flag and feel proud of it.
Senator Dolega criticised some of us for having the audacity to wear the Australian flag and show pride in our country. How dare she suggest that expressing pride in our nation and its flag is a form of dog whistling?
