Despite having the lead in the third quarter, the Buckaroos varsity football team lost to the Clyde Bulldogs in Clyde, 22-14, on Friday night, Oct. 10.
The Bulldogs scored first on a touchdown pass near the end of the first quarter, taking a 7-0 lead with 1:45 left.
Late in the second quarter, the Buckaroos tied up the score when Jaime Cruz ran up the middle for a touchdown, following a 4th-and-8 pass completion from Joseph Juneau to Ryan Waller.
Josiah Acosta kicked the extra point with 1:41 left in the first half, tying the game.
