A man deliberately drove into ten people during a violent rampage on Wednesday in western France, critically injuring four of them, according to reports.
The incident occurred just before 9 a.m. in the villages of Dolus-d’Oléron and Saint-Pierre-d’Oléron on Île d’Oléron, an island off France’s west coast, Le Parisien reported.
The driver, described as a French nationalist in his thirties known to police for minor offenses, targeted pedestrians and cyclists with his car. Victims ranged in age from 22 to 67.
