Manhattan transplant Randi Dorman recognized downtown Tucson's potential upon her arrival in 2001.
Downtown Tucson was a shadow of its former self, with boarded-up buildings and empty streets. However, Dorman saw an opportunity, recalling
“There were good bones, but it needed a lot of work.”
She converted the former Arizona Ice and Cold Storage Company into the Ice House Lofts, Arizona's first successful loft conversion project.
