The Marie Detty New Directions Domestic Violence Shelter is hosting a Glow Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness Month on Thursday.
The event will take place at Elmer Thomas Park, starting at the Patriot Pavilion, and will feature free hot dogs, local vendors, and speakers.
- Entry to the event requires a donation of one or more hygiene products, including:
- feminine products
- sensitive-skin lotions and soaps
- toothpaste
- hair care items, including African American hair products
