Black History Month: Celebrating Black Solicitors' Achievements
The Law Society is marking Black History Month by celebrating the contributions, achievements, and resilience of Black solicitors.
This month recognizes the crucial role Black solicitors play in championing justice, advocacy, and community empowerment, with this year's theme being 'Standing Firm in Power and Pride'.
According to Law Society research, 19% of practising certificate holders are from Black, Asian, or minority ethnic groups, with 3% being Black solicitors who have shared their ethnicity.
