Pacific Storm System Brings Rain Chances

Currently, the storm system is off the coast of California, but it is expected to move across the desert southwest and into the South Central Plains, dragging a cold front through the region.

Rain chances increase on Friday, especially Friday night, with the potential for 1–2+ inches of rainfall in some areas.

Initially, the cold front will bring drier, more comfortable air, with mostly cloudy skies in the morning and possible patchy fog, but sunshine will return in the afternoon as humidity drops.
