The World Food Championships has returned to the Indiana State Fairgrounds for the second time, featuring $450,000 in prize money across 12 competitions.
Culinary Crossroads, a group supporting Hoosier chefs and growers, played a key role in securing the event for the second year.
“We’re the place that has the Indianapolis 500. We host Super Bowls,”
said Larry Dickerson, founder and director of Culinary Crossroads. The organization is now in talks to keep the event in Indianapolis long-term.
