Manulife Acquires Indonesian Business of Schroder Investment Management
Manulife Financial Corp. has signed a deal to purchase the Indonesian business of Schroder Investment Management Ltd.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The acquisition will see PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia acquire PT Schroder Investment Management Indonesia.
Manulife said the acquisition reflects its long-term commitment to the Indonesian market.
Schroders Indonesia is the country's fifth-largest asset manager and the largest independent asset management platform. The deal is subject to regulatory approval and closing conditions.
