A total of 1,000 tons of cassava starch were produced by a local processing plant in Laos and transported with logistical support from China Railway Container Transportation Co., Ltd. The shipment represents the first full-scale railway cargo link utilized for this product, improving efficiency and reducing transport time between Laos and China.

Officials noted that this development demonstrates deeper economic cooperation under the Laos-China Railway project, which connects Vientiane with Kunming.
