In an interview on BBC Newsnight, Google CEO Sundar Pichai discussed the future of quantum computing and its parallels with artificial intelligence. He remarked:
“Quantum is where AI maybe was five years ago… building quantum systems will help us better simulate nature and unlock new scientific discoveries.”
