Kazakhstan is set to implement a new payment mechanism for car and real estate sales. Under this system, funds paid through banks during these transactions will be held temporarily until the buyer's ownership rights are officially registered.
"The new system will guarantee that the buyer’s ownership rights are confirmed before sellers access the payment, reducing fraud and disputes," said a Kazakh official involved in the reform.
The reform addresses concerns about fraud and gradual payment releases in property and car sales, ensuring a safer and more transparent process in Kazakhstan's real estate and automotive markets.
This system enhances buyer protection by linking payment release to official ownership registration, thereby strengthening trust in Kazakhstan's property and vehicle markets.
