Nov 7, 2025 | LOVELAND, CO — Colorado defenseman Alex Gagne scored his first professional goal and added an assist, helping the Eagles secure a 4-1 victory over the Abbotsford Canucks on Friday. Forwards Danil Gushchin, Tye Felhaber, and Tristen Nielsen also contributed goals.
Goaltender Trent Miner improved to 2-0 this season, making 10 saves on 11 shots. Colorado went 1-for-3 on the power play and was perfect at 3-for-3 on the penalty kill.
Colorado dominated the first period, outshooting Abbotsford 11-3, but the score remained tied at 0-0 after 20 minutes.
