TV personality Charlotte Crosby, 35, has spoken openly about the financial and emotional difficulties she and her fiancé, Jake Ankers, 34, have been facing since welcoming their second daughter, Pixi, in February. The couple also share a two-year-old daughter named Alba.
Sharing a glimpse into her personal life, Charlotte revealed that their relationship has been under pressure following the arrival of their newborn. She confessed the early months were especially tough for both of them.
“We had a really hard time in the beginning with our second child, like thousands of people will relate to.”
Charlotte explained that both she and Jake are working but cannot afford a nanny, acknowledging this reflects the reality of their lives. The couple’s financial strain has been compounded by other expenses.
“I don't really have a lot of money, let me tell you. I've just moved house and I'm renovating, so I'm literally on the bones of my a**e, so listen, it's difficult for everyone.”
The couple appear in Charlotte’s Paramount+ show Geordie Stories: Charlotte Mam of Two, where viewers can see glimpses of their life with children Pixi and Alba.
Crosby candidly reveals that balancing motherhood, financial constraints, and relationship stress has made the months after her second child especially challenging.
