During its State of Play Japan event, Sony revealed a new 27-inch QHD monitor designed for PlayStation and PC use. The display features a 240Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and variable refresh rate technology.
The charging hook allows you to place your DualSense controller on it, keeping it ready for play whenever you want.
The monitor will launch in the US and Japan sometime in 2026. Sony has not yet announced the price.
Following this, Sony also introduced Pulse Elevate portable desktop speakers compatible with PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and the PlayStation Portal. These speakers are also expected to release in 2026.
These new devices align with Sony's recent efforts to strengthen its presence in PC gaming. Notably, Sony has enabled DualSense controllers to pair with multiple devices, easing the switch between PS5 and PC.
“The company recently made it possible to pair a DualSense controller with more than one device at a time, making it easier to switch the connection from a PS5 to a PC and vice-versa.”
