Public voting has now opened to decide which housemates will reach the eagerly awaited Big Brother final. Among those at risk is Derry’s own Jenny Baird, a fan favourite who narrowly missed securing an automatic spot in the last week of the show.
Earlier in the week, contestants took part in a two-part challenge. The first task saw them assign red and white “eyeballs” to represent negative and positive contributions from fellow housemates. This was followed by a physical challenge in which Jenny and her close friend Cameron triumphed together.
Later, both faced a group interrogation from housemates who privately voted on who deserved to reach the final stage. Despite praise for her sincerity and sense of humour, Jenny was edged out as Cameron received the golden ticket to the final.
Supporters can vote to keep Jenny in the Big Brother house up to five times for free. To participate, voters must log in using their mobile number and date of birth on the official voting platform.
“Derry viewers eager to support Jenny and keep her in the house are encouraged to cast their votes before tomorrow’s eviction.”
Voting is available at the official ITV website.
Before entering the Big Brother house, Jenny secretly filmed a short rap video that gained attention online. Throughout the series, she has been praised for her light-hearted attitude and authenticity, which earned her a strong regional following.
Author’s summary: Jenny Baird, beloved by Derry fans, narrowly missed the Big Brother final but still has a chance to stay through public voting now open online.
